BERLIN.
This body of work takes its inspiration from and celebrates the people and personalities of the city- the metropolis- specifically in the era of 1920s Berlin. The nightlife, the performers, the dancehalls- this complex period of new modernity that was bursting with ideas, and a newfound freedom of expression, situated in a period of extreme hardship and foreboding forces.
